Tomorrow David and I will celebrate our 6 year anniversary. I can hardly believe it's been that long! So much has changed since that December night our freshman year of high school, but there are some things that never will. Like the way I get butterflies in my tummy when he reaches for my hand or the way I can't help but smile when he walks into the room. Or the way he makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Here's a walk down memory lane:

It's so weird that this is our last dating anniversary! By this time next year, we will have been married for 6 months (and 1 week) already! We plan to spend tomorrow Christmas shopping, looking at wedding bands (!!), and relaxing after a long week of finals for both of us - Sounds perfect!
David, I am so thankful that I have you in my life. You are one of my biggest blessings and I've had so much fun growing up with you. I can't believe this is our last dating anniversary! (We can still celebrate it when we're married, though, can't we??) I am so excited to be your wife in less than 6 months and I cannot WAIT to spend the rest of my life with you! I love you! Forever and ever, babe.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Ryan and I have been together for almost 2 years, so not nearly as long as you and your guy! I think we'll still celebrate our dating anniversary, probably a small celebration, but I want to commemorate the day.
ReplyDeleteAw congrats!! Six years is a long, time! We just celebrated 4 years...time flies! I think we'll still acknowledge our dating anniversary, but the wedding anniversary will definitely be the *Big One*. Oh! And have SO much fun looking at bands! It's like ring shopping all over again, but without the pressure!

ReplyDelete6 years wow!!! Thats awesome. I'm loving the high school prom picture haha Isn't it weird that next year you will be celebrating your 1st wedding anniversry! AHHHH So exciting. B and I have been dating for 5 years and 8 months so I totally get the high school sweet heart thing haha! It's so fun to pull out old pictures and see how much everything has changed. 6 years is so awesome! I love to hear about High School Sweethearts! My Fiance and I are high school sweethearts as well...and then we took a little hiatus :) and now have been together again for 2 and a half years! Congratulations!
