Will You Be My Valentine?

It's been forever since I made homemade valentines! But after seeing how cute the valentines were in the Weddingbee swap last year, I decided to participate this year! (Yes, I'd already been reading Weddingbee on a daily basis for months before David proposed.) I think they turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself!

Of course, I put them off until the last minute (although I have been a bit busy with school, house hunting, applying for jobs, and an occasional wedding project) so they weren't as detailed and cute on the inside as I'd originally planned, but oh well.

And the best part? I got to use the pink envelopes and damask liners that I wanted to use for our STDs!

I enjoyed it so much that I think I'll make David's card this year instead of buying one.

Are you making any homemade valentines this year? Do you usually?

**And because I'm sure she's reading - HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY, KIRSTEN!! :)

  3. They turned out great! :) I love making things! I bought my fiance's valetine's card a year ago when a card shop was going out of business. I got it for like, .50! The funniest part is it said "Happy Valetine's Day to my Fiance" and we of course weren't engaged then! I knew it was coming! :)

  6. @ Mrs. Stoneking - They're so easy! You could totally make them. It's just a piece of cardstock cut and folded with a piece of damask print vellum over the top of it. And some ribbon. That's it! :)

@ Nicole-Lynn - Haha! That sounds like something I would've done! You'll have to read my post on Valentine's Day - I definitely didn't wait very patiently for the proposal when I knew it was coming!

@ Kirsten - It was fun! Hope you have a wonderful birthday weekend visiting you sister!

@ Penga and Brittany - Thanks, ladies!
