My Lovely Ladies!

I realized I haven't yet introduced the wonderful ladies that will be standing up with me on our big day! These girls are some of the most important people in my life and their love and support means more than anything to me!

My Matron of Honor (although she hates the word 'Matron' because she thinks it makes her sound like an old lady) is my oldest sister. We've always been close, but have grown even closer in the last 5 years or so. I love that she's almost like a second mom to me (she's about 11 years older than me) but is one of my closest friends too. I love her four children like they're my own, and I'm the proud Godmother of 2 of them! :) Knowing that she loves David and supports us in anything is so important to me.

My Maid of Honor is my best friend since freshman year of high school. She's actually the reason that David and I are together! I told her I had a huge crush on him and she told him even though she wasn't supposed to! But I guess I forgive her since it worked out pretty well. :) We have so much fun together - I think we laugh until we cry almost every time we're together. We're alike in so many ways, but total opposites in other ways so it's the perfect balance. She joined the Air Force in January and I've only seen her twice since then: Once at her basic training graduation in March (where I surprised her!) and then for about 4 hours when she came home for her birthday and surprised me and our other friend (BM M!) which is not nearly enough. I am SOO proud of her, but I miss her so much it hurts!

Bridesmaid R is my other older sister! We've also grown closer over the last few years as I've "become an adult," and I love her dearly. She lives in Phoenix with her new hubby (the picture is from her wedding in May!) so I don't get to see her nearly as often as I'd like, but I love spending time with her whenever I get the chance! AND, the most exciting part: BM R is pregnant!! She's due in April, so I'll have a new niece or nephew at the wedding!!

Bridesmaid M is another one of my best friends from high school. She, my MOH, and I have SO much fun together. BM M is one of those people who regardless of what happens or where we are, when we get back together we're able to pick up right where we left off. We spent almost every day together this summer because we both nannied for kids that were the same ages. She's been there throughout David and I's entire relationship and we've gotten to grow up together during that time. I love her lots!

Bridesmaid S is my roommate and best friend from KU. We lived together last year and are living together again this year. I love being able to spend time with her by just walking across the hall! She played a big part in making sure the proposal went as planned (actually that picture is from the day of the proposal!) and she's already been a HUGE help with planning and DIY projects. I'm going to miss living in the same town as her next year, let alone the same house!

*This picture is over 4 years old, but it's still my favorite of us* Jr. Bridesmaid K is David's little sister. It's been so fun watching her grow up over the last 5 and a half years. I can't believe she's in middle school this year! JrBM K holds a very special place in David's heart as she's his only sister, and she means the world to me too. She's told me for years how excited she is to have a big sister, and I'm so excited to have a little sister!

I had to include pictures of my two princess (aka flower girls) because they're just so stinkin cute! They are my nieces (my Matron of Honor's daughters) and I love them with all my heart! They are going to look SO cute walking down the aisle - I don't even care if they steal my thunder!

There are my lovely ladies! Did you have any trouble deciding who would be in your bridal party? Are you including all of your siblings?
