Yesterday I was bored waiting for David to finish reffing (I told you he refs a lot of soccer!) so I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous sunlight and get some better shots of my ring. I tried to follow Anne Ruthmann's tutorial from Weddingbee Pro, and here's what I ended up with:
I wish I would've had more props (I'm actually surprised I didn't as my car is a huge mess), but I'm still pretty happy with how they came out! It's amazing how much sunlight helps in getting clear shots!
Have you done a photo shoot with your ring? Did you follow Anne's (ha, we're on a first name basis - I wish!) tips? How did they turn out?
I didn't do a photo shot but I snatched one in the car right after I got it with my camera phone and it came out stunning! On my finger that is...but it caught the sparkle of the sunlight hitting it...it's on my blog under our proposal story post. Yours is beautiful and the shots are pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteThey look great! I've never successfully done a ring shoot - for some reason mine never turn out even when I use Anne's tutorial!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures - I love your ring! My ring pics haven't come out well so far, but maybe I'll try this tutorial to see if I can get some good ones.
